The five time World Champion Antonio Cairoli (KTM) won the MX1 GP of Czech Republic, on the track of Loket, and he celebrated a new record: 50th career win, followed during this GP by a very fast Christophe Pourcel (Kawasaki) and Clement Desalle (Suzuki), third.
Double win for Jeffrey Herlings (KTM) in MX2, who has made a miracle thinking must renounce the race after the Russian’s accident that caused him an head trauma and a broken rib. The Dutchman has put a sign, once again, a victory, followed by Tommy Searle (KAWASAKI) and Zachary Osborne (Yamaha), respectively second and third. Not so a good race, unfortunately, for some of the Acerbis’ riders at Loket’s track with a challenging terrain.
In MX1 class, Shaun Simpson closed this GP in twelfth place with a good eighth position in the first moto and a fourteenth in the second. He’s in this second part of the season a Team Yamaha Rinaldi’s rider.
In MX2 class Jens Getteman, that in the two previous GP had closed the two days in fifteenth place, on the track in the Czech Republic, he didn’t go beyond the seventeenth place overall.
It ‘s the turn of EMX2 European Championship, where Brent Van Doninck concluded with a 14th place; the Belgian driver in the first moto has passed the FINISH in seventh place, but unfortunately scoring a zero in the second one.
Next GP of the FIM Motocross World Championship will be on 19th August 2012 in Matterley Basin, Winchester (England).
